A note from Teresa:

Healing is not just the removal of symptoms; it’s living life in the way that we were meant to be as our best selves.

I have overcome so much in my personal life and have done the work and understand that life is a journey. There is nothing I enjoy more than seeing people transform into the best version of themselves. I now have the privilege to teach the techniques that I have applied to myself to my clients. I utilize interventions from various models to find your own unique treatment plan to suite your needs. Sessions are thoughtfully tailored using a strength based, trauma informed, highly collaborative and integrative approach enhancing skills you already use.

My Background:

I have 13+ years of experience working as a licensed clinical social worker. I began my social work career at Weber State University’s Women’s Center, Davis Behavioral Health and Family Counseling Services. I am passionate about helping individuals find peace and learn new ways to reach their goals and aspirations. In addition to my one-on-one clinical work, I specialize in supervising mental health therapists and coach clinical social workers, oversees all aspects of care and training at Salais Counseling.
