A note from Ali:

My Motto - "Bringing the family together to heal from all angles". I love working with kids and teens but have found the most success in helping them face the challenges in their lives when there is familial involvement. Kids are just that, kids. They need the love and support of their families to help them face and conquer the challenges in their lives. Creating a strong family bond is what can really help a kid move forward and be successful.

Most of my experience is working with anxiety, depression, processing trauma (such as abuse and neglect), teaching parenting skills and coping skills. I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My goal is to work clients using their strengths so they can succeed in their circumstances.

Many youth I have worked with were in foster care. A lot of them had traumatic experiences to process, family wounds to heal and skills to learn. I loved working with them to achieve this. Throughout all of these experiences I have learned how to support families and their children with mental health needs. I believe that healing and change is possible.
